A passionate and dedicated teacher, Jie Jin's students won the top prizes in the competitions, performed in Carnegie Hall, Kimmel Center and soloed with orchestra. In addition to teaching at Chamber Strings Summer Workshop Jie successfully ran the Presto Chamber Music Camp with violinist Linda Litwin in summer 2010. She was also on the panel of judge for Golden Key Music Competition in 2008.

Jie teaches young and adult students at all levels. Her extensive teaching experience includes private cello lesson, group class, chamber ensemble coaching and educational presentation. With a thorough understanding of each student, Jie then designs diverse teaching methods to suit the different needs of the students. Only with solid technique training, may people play music expressively and present their personal musical understanding freely. Thus, Jie is dedicated to provide a systematical and effective technical training. Meanwhile, Jie encourages students to express themselves creatively and enthusiastically through music.

With the emphasis on musical understanding and technical training, Jie has helped many students to pursue their ideals and musical dreams. Her sunny personality and profound teaching experience has earned her great love from her students.

Chan Wok Hwang won the third place in Kennett Symphony Competition 2011!

JKL Trio: Amy Li, violin; Seyoung Kim, cello; Mason Jiang, piano won the first place in Junior ensemble at Tri-County Youth Competition 2011!

Alicia Song,violin,Miranda Jen,Violin II,Jessica Wang,Violist, Rachel Ditcher, Cello received "honorable mention" in Junior Ensemble at the Tri-County competition 2011.

Alex Wu, cellist who is the cellist in Piano Trio with Malka and Ethan Lee won the gold medal in Young Classical Virtuosos of Tomorrow Competition 2011. They will perform at Perelman Theater in Kimmel Center.

Tim Li, violin, Madeline Hirsch, Cello and Shela Wu, Piano has been selected as a silver recipient in Young Classical Virtuosos of Tomorrow Competition 2011!

Daniel Lee won the audition of Delaware County Youth Orchestra. He will join DCYO in Fall 2011.

Alex Wu won the audition of Philadelphia Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra. He will join the orchestra in Fall 2011.

Chan Wok Hwang won the audition of Philadelphia young Artists Orchestra in 2011.

Caroline Castelli, Neal Chan and Hannah Yoon won the audition of PRYSM Young Artists. They will join the orchestra in Fall 2011.

The Bello Suono Quartet features Dawning Welliver (violin), Emily Ermer (violin), Erica Cianciulli (viola), and Chan Wook Hwang (cello) won the second place in the Junior Ensemble Division of the Tri-County Youth Festival Competition in 2010.

Alex Wu won the first prize in the Warminster Symphony Young Artist competition. He will perform with the orchestra as the soloist in October 2010.
